What We Can Address Virtually

Virtual visits can safely evaluate and manage many urgent concerns, including:

  • Infections: UTI, sinus infections, pink eye, and throat pain.
  • Skin Issues: Rashes, minor burns, insect bites, and hives.
  • Injuries: Minor sprains, strains, and joint pain.
  • Respiratory: Cough, congestion, mild asthma flare-ups, and allergies.
  • Digestion: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and acid reflux.

What We Cannot Treat Virtually (ER or In-Person Urgent Care Needed)

Go immediately to an emergency room or traditional in-person urgent care for:

  • Chest pain or pressure.
  • Difficulty breathing or severe shortness of breath.
  • Severe head injuries or loss of consciousness.
  • Sudden weakness, numbness, or difficulty speaking.
  • Deep lacerations requiring stitches or uncontrolled bleeding.
  • Suspected fractures with visible deformity.


How the Process Works

  1. New Patients: Video Consultation: Get your vitals ready! Meet face-to-face online with your Practitioner to discuss symptoms. All first-time appointments are 45-60 min to accommodate an overall health screening with updates to historical problems as well as one or two concerns.
  2. Established Patients: Book Your Time: Choose a virtual 15-minute slot (1 concern) or a 30-minute slot (2 concerns). We will let you know about screenings and prevention during regularly scheduled visits as needed.
  3. Wellness Screenings: are performed in person at a private home, office, or community living facility.
  4. Immediate Orders: Your Practitioner submits prescriptions, lab orders, or X-ray requisitions electronically the same day. Alterations, additions, corrections, and resubmissions after hours will be addressed accordingly.
  5. Specialist Referrals: If your condition requires an in-person expert, we will generate a referral immediately. While specialist availability varies widely and timelines cannot be guaranteed, we work diligently to find open Practitioners. We highly recommend calling the specialist’s office directly after receiving your referral to help expedite the scheduling process.
  6. Safety: Depending on your individualized medical plan, follow-up visits in person and patient monitoring (BP cuff, thermometer etc) may be required for medical and insurance requirements.
